Portrait Milano (Quadrilatero della Moda / Corso Venezia)
Portrait Milano is set within the former Archiepiscopal Seminary, a monumental complex founded in 1565 and transformed into one of the city’s most ambitious hospitality projects. Hidden behind a Baroque entrance on Corso Venezia, the property reopened in 2022 following a major restoration led by architect Michele De Lucchi, which preserved the historic structure while adapting it into a contemporary hotel that brings together hospitality, culture, design, and local history.
The hotel includes 73 rooms and suites designed by architect Michele Bönan, drawing on the aesthetic of 1950s Milanese residences. Interiors combine walnut wood, rattan paneling, leather and brass details, and natural materials such as Carrara marble and larch flooring, with references to both Milanese tradition and Florentine craftsmanship. The property extends beyond the rooms into a wider ecosystem centered around a 2,800-square-meter piazza, where guests have access to dining venues including 10_11 Bar Giardino Ristorante, Beefbar, and the Rumore bar, as well as The Longevity SPA. The courtyard also hosts cultural programming throughout the year, including exhibitions, installations, and seasonal events.
Located in the Quadrilatero della Moda between Corso Venezia and Via Sant’Andrea, the hotel places guests in the heart of Milan’s fashion district, within walking distance of the Duomo, La Scala, and Brera. The central piazza, open to both locals and visitors, creates a distinctive setting that combines the atmosphere of a private residence with the energy of a cultural hub.
STRAF hotel&bar (Duomo / Centro Storico)
STRAF hotel&bar is set within a late 19th-century building just steps from the Duomo, designed by architect Vincenzo De Cotiis as a reinterpretation of conventional hotel design. The concept draws on references to contemporary art and material experimentation, with a focus on raw, industrial elements and handcrafted finishes. Cement, oxidized copper, slate, and glass are used throughout, creating an interior defined by texture, contrast, and intentional use of light.
Rooms follow the same design approach, combining sculptural elements with mirrored surfaces that expand the sense of space. Some rooms include integrated wellness features such as chromotherapy and dedicated relaxation areas separated by glass partitions. The hotel also includes Bar STRAF, which extends the design language into a social setting with live music, DJ sets, and casual dining, as well as H2O STRAF Wellness with a pool, sauna, Turkish bath, and relaxation areas.
Located in the Centro Storico, the hotel places guests within walking distance of the Duomo and Milan’s main shopping streets and cultural landmarks, making it a highly central base for exploring the city.
Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel (Brera / Piazzetta Bossi)
Casa Brera is a luxury hotel set within a rationalist building designed by Pietro Lingeri in the 1940s, located in Piazzetta Bossi near La Scala. The property was recently restored and redesigned by architect Patricia Urquiola, who reworked the original architectural framework through a contemporary approach that emphasizes geometry and material contrast while preserving the building’s historic character.
The hotel includes approximately 116 rooms and suites, designed around a consistent material palette of marble, wood, glass, and metal. Furnishings and finishes reference Milan’s design heritage, with custom-made elements and integrated artworks throughout. Dining is structured across several venues, including Scena, a fine-dining Italian restaurant focused on Milanese cuisine; Etereo, a rooftop restaurant and bar with Mediterranean dishes and panoramic views; the Living lounge for all-day dining and aperitivo; and Odachi, an intimate Japanese restaurant.
Located in Brera, the hotel is within walking distance of La Scala, the Duomo, and the surrounding gallery and museum district. Its position in a small piazza creates a more contained, architectural setting while remaining directly connected to Milan’s central cultural and commercial areas.
Crossing Manzoni (Centro Storico / Quadrilatero della Moda)
Hotel Crossing Manzoni is set in a refined Milanese building in the historic center, just steps from La Scala, the Duomo, and Via Montenapoleone in the heart of the fashion district. Part of the Crossing Collection, it serves as a sophisticated hideaway for travelers looking to immerse themselves in Milan’s culture, design, and history, while enjoying a quieter, more discreet residential setting.
The interiors are defined by a careful composition of materials, textures, and lighting, with each room designed as a curated space. Furnishings combine pieces by established and emerging designers with paintings, sculptures, and prints, alongside bespoke elements such as custom carpentry, blacksmith details, and stone tables that reflect Italian craftsmanship. A shared lounge includes a kitchenette discreetly integrated behind floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, available to guests throughout the day for coffee, drinks, and light snacks.
Located within the Quadrilatero della Moda, the hotel is within walking distance of Milan’s key cultural landmarks, including La Scala, the Duomo, Brera, and Castello Sforzesco. Its position on a quieter street within this central district offers a practical base for exploring the city’s museums, historic sites, and shopping streets, while maintaining a more intimate, residential atmosphere.
3Rooms at 10 Corso Como (Brera / Corso Como)
3Rooms at 10 Corso Como is a small collection of three design suites set within the iconic 10 Corso Como complex, one of Milan’s most influential concept stores. Founded in 1991 inside a converted industrial building hidden within a traditional Milanese courtyard, 10 Corso Como established a new model that brings together fashion, design, and culture in a single, interconnected environment. Today, following a recent architectural transformation led by the interdisciplinary agency 2050+, the space continues to evolve as a flexible platform for exhibitions, retail, and cultural programming.
The three suites function as an extension of this ecosystem, offering an intimate “home away from home” experience within the complex. Each suite has a distinct identity, furnished with pieces inspired by mid-20th-century designers and architects and complemented by curated artworks. Guests access the suites through a private entrance in the courtyard and benefit from full-service amenities, as well as direct access to the café, gallery, and curated retail spaces that define the 10 Corso Como experience.

The interiors were developed in collaboration with architect Giuseppe Alito, with many of the furniture pieces handcrafted by artisans in Tuscany and Sicily. Materials and objects are sourced globally, including handmade tiles from Fez, marble from Greece and Italy, and vintage design pieces, creating a layered composition that blends Italian craftsmanship with international influences. The hotel includes one room and six suites, each with a distinct layout, curated artworks, and custom furnishings.
