Artist Moran Kliger recommends participating in the prestigious program of the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris:
I arrived at the Cité immediately after the end of my solo exhibition Seven Primates, which was exhibited at the Basis Gallery in Herzliya, Israel, in 2018. It was a time to rest and restart after two very intense years working on the exhibition. The Cité setting and location in the center of Paris was a perfect place for me; Its proximity to all the galleries, museums, and other art spaces in the city was fertile ground for creation and provided me with countless sources of inspiration for thinking about my next exhibition. The living space, whose window overlooked a Parisian garden, and an ancient library building, was my workplace for sketches, drawings, and planning my next project.
The Cité is located in two separate locations in Paris: the first in the Montmartre area, and the second, where I stayed, is in the center of Paris, near the Marais. On this site, you can live and get a studio for up to a year.
