Importantly, artists are responsible for costs exceeding the provided production fee and no daily allowance is given.

The KAC residency houses 10 specialized studios catering to diverse artistic requirements. Some studios, with wooden floors and large mirrors, are perfect for dance and performance. Others, with concrete bases, are apt for crafts. Soundproofed rooms, repurposed from old music rooms, are ideal for audio projects. KAC also provides the Auditorium, the Multi-purpose Hall, two galleries, and two traditional Japanese rooms.

The duration of residencies at KAC varies. The “Open Call Program” allows artists to apply for up to three months, while the “Exchange Program” with global art institutions spans two weeks to three months, finalized in collaboration with the partner institution.
